During July and mid-November, Crystal Bay Dive Site will be crowd of people because it is the Ocean Sunfish or also known as Mola-mola can be found in here. This period is the time where this species come to surface of the ocean from the depths. It will be easy to encounter this species frequently during the time. Anemones cover the hard coral reef in a white sand base. Other species that can be found here are such as Angelfish, Butterfly fishes and Sweetlips. This dive site is a great spot that is worth visiting especially for those who love diving and snorkeling in Bali.
There is another great spot to find in Crystal Bay Dive Site that is called Bat Cave. Divers can come to this place from underwater. The surface is inside the cave and it is open to the sky. Here, small reef shark can be occasionally found. However, this species seems to be shy so they will leave by knowing that they have visitors. In deeper wall that can be considered as very deep from the Bat Cave, hard corals and lobster homes are there in their habitat. The currents come from Indian Ocean and it makes the divers possible to see eagle rays, white tip reef shark and sometimes leopard shark.
