Nusa Penida Dive Site is oen of spot to find the amazing marine life especially who want to see closer with ocean sunfish or Mola-mola and Mantas. Nusa Penida is an island considered as the largest besides Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. It stretches for 17 km long in the east coast of Bali. From the main beach, it takes only 30 minutes using boat then divers can jump into the water where the amazing marine life has awaited.
The water condition of Nusa Penida Dive Site is fairly cold and it must be well aware. Divers must be ready for this. It is caused by the deep unwilling in the south of Bali. However, it is clear and the species inhabits the spots are easy to see. What can be found here are such as corals, fish and turtles. They are exotic species. Sometimes, some species of sharks can also appear such as silver tip sharks or grey reef shark. The great period to visit this site is July up to the middle of November. It is the time when ocean sunfish came to the surface from the depth.
